Who Are We?

Bondzú is an initiative that seeks to give a dignified life to animals in captivity. We understand the situation of various species and therefore the need for captivity. Technology is present in our daily lives and that is why at Bondzú we take advantage of tools such as live cameras, the development of robotic devices and the manufacture of modern toys to achieve our goal.

Our struggle

In our fight for the protection of animals, we recognize that some animals must remain in captivity due to their inability to adapt to the wild. Our contribution focuses on informing and awakening love for nature in people. We support institutions that care for these captive animals, making sure to spread the word about their efforts to gain the necessary support. At Bondzù, we work to provide live images of the animals and develop robotic devices and toys that enrich their environment and promote their physical activity. Our mission is to foster love and respect for all forms of life.

Our enemy

The world faces mass extinction caused by human activity, pushing nearly one in five known species to the brink of extinction, according to the IUCN. Climate change and deforestation, with all tropical rainforests estimated to be destroyed by 2030, are major drivers. This severely impacts biodiversity, as many species depend on forests for survival. In addition, the illegal trade in wild animals, driven by cultural traditions, aesthetics and economic gain, threatens the existence of more than half of the world's species. The capture and sale of animals on the black market, even endangered species, aggravates the situation, putting the survival of wildlife at risk.

Fighting extinction with education

There is still hope to stop the current extinctions, as they are not inevitable and are driven by destructive human activities. If we act now, we can reverse this trend. To do so, it is essential to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, reduce carbon emissions and slow global warming. Protecting animals’ natural habitats and ensuring they have the space they need to thrive is another crucial strategy. Likewise, breeding endangered species in captivity, followed by reintroducing them into the wild when they are ready, can contribute to their survival. With education and action, we can tackle the extinction crisis and preserve biodiversity for future generations.
